About the role
As a Software Developer at Saamsy, you'll be embedded in the engineering team shipping features across our hospitality product line. The back end is PHP / Laravel; the front end is Vue 3 with Vuetify for our admin interfaces and Tailwind for our public-facing sites. You'll own features end-to-end — spec, build, test, review, deploy.
We build software that handles passport scanning, digital restaurant menus, reservation management, and guest feedback for properties on the Red Sea and across Egypt. The team is small, the autonomy is high, and your output is visible from day one.
We value clean code, good tests, and honest communication over résumé padding.

What we're looking for
- ✓ 2+ years of professional PHP development
- ✓ Experience with a modern PHP framework (Laravel preferred)
- ✓ JavaScript — Vue or React at a component level
- ✓ Basic SQL and ORM usage
- ✓ Comfortable working from a Jira board or equivalent
- ✓ Strong written communication — remote standups are text-first
- ✓ Bonus: experience with hotel or F&B software
